Additionally, Treasury Analyst determines procurement of funds, and monitors investments and collections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Treasury Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Treasury Analyst typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.     ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

    The Treasury Analyst will provide analytical support to deliver best-in-class treasury operations in line with the policies, processes, and procedures of the company. Monitors cash activity and compiles short-term cash forecasts. Coordinates the organization’s activities relating to banking including internal and external cash movements. Evaluate bank services and fees, monitor bank performance, and recommend appropriate action. Produces management reports detailing performance.  This role will be required to work cross-functionally and with key stakeholders (accounting, FP&A, tax).

    OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE A HIGH PERSONAL STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE, A DRIVE FOR RESULTS AND A PROACTIVE, “CAN-DO” ATTITUDE AND WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

    • Owning all cash management and treasury functions globally for all bank accounts to ensure all cash transactions are applied in the ledger following RF’s established policies and procedures. This includes investigating, researching, and resolving complex issues/problems, and responding to internal customers.
    • Ensuring operational compliance with Treasury policies, controls, and related reporting deliverables
    • Providing analytical support and guidance to personnel within the Finance function and delivering effectively on the initiatives of the department.
    • Coordinating morning treasury activities such as cash positioning, wire initiation, file transmissions, etc.
    • Maintaining short-term cash and expense forecasts
    • Reviewing wire transfers and ensuring that any returned wires are reissued and accounted for properly
    • Processing cash, credit/debit transactions, and electronic transaction files (ACH/CC/Payroll)
    • Utilizing data warehouse to monitor asset-based collateral positions across multiple credit facilities, execute asset sales, and ensure compliance with lending covenants.
    • Special projects and initiative implementations as needed
    SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:
    • Bachelors’ Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
    • Minimum of two (2) years experience as a Treasury Analyst or similar role in a corporate setting, and has demonstrated skills and knowledge in the following areas:
      • Strong Financial analysis skills and ability to interpret data
      • Knowledge of cash and investment accounting
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
      • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and manage multiple projects and tasks
      • Strong planning and organizational skills
    • High emotional IQ – very strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively across all levels within the organization – from C-Level to team members, while being sensitive to business needs.

Treasury Analysts seem to be robots plugging in numbers to spreadsheets, but the Director of Billing basically is responsible for and involved in all accounting related to revenues – deferring unearned, accruing unbilled, dealing with auditors, analyzing to ensure accuracy, determining appropriate accruals for bad debt, some forecasting of future billing and/or cash flow, etc.
