Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of daily treasury operations. Oversees cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Analyst researches economic trends and investment opportunities. May assist senior staff with preparing materials and reports using standard methodologies and procedures. Additionally, Treasury Analyst determines procurement of funds, and monitors investments and collections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Treasury Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Treasury Analyst typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Accountant - Treasury and Compliance

The individual enhances the effectiveness of the Treasury and Compliance Department workload by providing personalized and timely support.     Essential Functions
    • Monthly/Quarterly/Semi-Annual and Annual filing of state sales and use tax reports by due dates established by tax authorities. Remit payments for amounts owed.
    • Filing of CN tonnage tax, seed permits, business licenses and other state and local taxes needed to ensure company compliance with local tax jurisdictions.
    • Daily analysis and posting to the ledger of cash activity reported by the bank.
    • Administration and maintenance of company credit card program
    • Evaluate and assist in developing compliance policies and procedures for improved workflow and anticipate future needs as organization grows.
    • Communicate with Government reporting agencies in an effective and professional manner as needed.
    • Communicate with the field regarding any tax compliance issues
    • Research and maintain taxable rates among multiple Government reporting agencies.
    • Support the preparation of the company’s federal/state tax return by providing support schedules to tax preparers
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
    • 3-5 years of accounting experience
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) and Adobe Acrobat
    • Experience with Concur a plus, but not required

Exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force may occasionally be required. While performing the duties of this job, good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, and copiers is needed. The employee is occasionally required to walk, climb, balance, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
