Travel Manager directs the operation of the company's travel services. Administers and monitors the travel policies, guidelines, and budget to deliver efficient travel arrangements. Additionally, Travel Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.     About the role:

    We are looking for a Junior Ancillary Meeting Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall logistics planning and attendee management of simple meetings in conjunction with medical congresses. Main responsibilities include, but not limited to, budgeting, on-site organization and execution, reconciliation, client and vendor management, and all aspects of event logistics. The ideal candidate will have had previous experience managing simple meetings, not necessarily in conjunction with medical Congresses. Sound like you? Read on!

    As a Junior Ancillary Meeting Manager, you will:

    • Responsible for developing, planning and executing projects in all of their components from the initial meeting submission
    • Primary client liaison with regards to all logistic arrangement surrounding simple meetings including, but not limited to, Hotel Accommodation, Flights, ground transfers, meeting spaces and onsite support.
    • Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics
    • Adhere to client policy on financial and compliance controls for all engagements.
    • Adhere to all deadlines & turnaround timelines

    • Solving problems showing can-do attitude
    • Managing budgets meeting deadlines

    You might also have:

    • Minimum two (2) years' experience managing meetings & events
    • Minimum of two (2) years' experience managing outside vendors, sourcing and negotiating contract services
    • Customer service experience
    • Cvent and Microsoft Office

    You should know:

    • This role is virtual
    • Our standard working hours are 8:30 AM -5:30 PM with an hour break
    • Covid vaccination might be required for this role

    We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Jr. Ancillary Meeting Manager is between $50,000 - $58,000 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
