Travel Manager directs the operation of the company's travel services. Administers and monitors the travel policies, guidelines, and budget to deliver efficient travel arrangements. Being a Travel Manager prepares periodic budget and utilization reports. Provides guidance to employees about travel requirements including visa, medical, and special conditions. Additionally, Travel Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Travel Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Travel Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Small Meetings Manager

    We are looking for a Small Meetings Manager to join our dynamic team within our Life Sciences Division. In this role, you will support the end-to-end development, planning and overall execution of events for a corporate client. This extends to attendee registration websites, communication and list management. Sound like you? Read on!

    Your responsibilities:

    • Responsible for all aspects of program planning and closeout for small meetings
    • Source/contract vendors
    • Design and build websites that provide exceptional user experience and maintain efficient backend management and reporting
    • Create and distribute client-facing communication/documents
    • Submit requests for services and supplies
    • Adhere to all deadlines, turnaround timelines & compliance requirements

    You're good at:

    • Time management and balancing multiple priorities
    • Being organized, efficient, and accurate
    • Adaptability
    • Being proactive and anticipating the next priority
    • Effective communication with colleagues and vendors
    • Proofing electronic documents/communication
    • Cvent, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

    You might also have:

    • A college degree from a 4-year institution
      Background and/or education in meetings and events industry

    We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Small Meeting Manager is between $50,000 - $63,000 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
