The Events Coordinator is responsible for providing logistical support for all GTN events. This position will directly report to the Events Manager as a part of the Professional Development team. An ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a proven ability to collaborate, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task to represent GTN in its highest form.

The Events Coordinator responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· Assist in creation and distribute RFPs, review responses, and make recommendations to event manager
· Manage all aspects of event registration for all members (advisors, partners, guests, etc)
· Manage all parts of event deployment working with other teams as needed
· Track revenue and expenses and prepare post-event reports
· Oversee internal and external event communications
· Respond to all email and phone inquiries related to events
· Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and venues
· Planning event details and aspects, including seating, dining and guests
· Managing events and addressing potential problems that may arise
· Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event
· Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events
Requirements:
· Flexibility is critical to success as this is a fast-paced and quickly growing company
· Ability to operate independently and to proactively research answers when necessary
· Patience, a calm demeanor, and ability to work with people of many personalities
· Excellent attention to detail
· Outstanding communication skills – both written and oral
· High level of agility and adaptability
· Mastery of computer systems including experience with event planning technology, such as Cvent
· Minimum 2 - 4 years events experience required.
