GENERAL SUMMARY

The Coordinator, Revenue Services is responsible for the timely and accurate application of Cash, tracking of new contracts and addendums, maintenance of customer records, metric reporting, and accounting management within the department.  

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

Under the general supervision of the Director, Revenue Services, the Coordinator, Revenue Services interacts with all departments, Area Managing Directors, Regional Directors, and customers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Process Cash Receipts in a timely and accurate manner, including direct debits/credit cards.
2. Research unapplied and resolve customer disputes related to payments received.
3. Perform customer payment reconciliations and analysis related to receivables accounts.
4. Produce invoices/statements at customer request.
5. Prepare and monitor data sent to outside collection agencies / law firms. Update trackers.
6. Update payment plans, credit card and various trackers.
7. Handle miscellaneous billing inquiries received.
8. Assist with other Revenue Services and Accounting tasks and projects as assigned.
9. Assist in designated AR accounts/activities.
10. Participate in off hour discussions, as needed.
11. Handle large amounts of emails daily to assist team 
12. Process reservation adjustments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Worker characteristics are normally acquired through the completion of a university degree program in accounting and 1 year in accounting experience, preferably in Cash, AR, Credit or Collections. Other qualifications include experience in Word, Excel and Outlook with Great Plains a plus; ability to prioritize daily tasks and meet deadlines; strong organization and analytical skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong attention to detail, ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced and dynamic organization. 

WORKING CONDITIONS

The working environment is located in one of the most distinct and highly appointed office buildings in Newport Beach.  Office space is beautifully as well as functionally decorated including all required technology tools.  The incumbent is seated most of the time.
