We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Travel Sales Agent. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling travel packages to potential customers, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a seamless travel booking experience. The ideal candidate should have a passion for travel, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement: Interact with customers to understand their travel preferences, needs, and budget constraints.
• Product Knowledge: Stay updated on travel destinations, packages, and industry trends to effectively recommend suitable options to customers.
• Sales Generation: Proactively promote and sell travel packages, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities, to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Booking Management: Handle the end-to-end booking process, including reservation confirmations, itinerary creation, and payment processing.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the travel experience.
• Cross-selling: Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services such as travel insurance, car rentals, and excursions to enhance the customer's travel experience.
• Documentation: Ensure accurate and complete documentation of customer information, bookings, and transactions.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to streamline processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Adaptability: Stay flexible and adapt to changes in travel plans, customer requirements, and industry developments.
• Targets and Reporting: Meet and report on weekly and monthly sales targets, providing insights into performance and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Some experience in sales, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Knowledge of popular travel destinations, services, and products.
• Familiarity with reservation systems and booking platforms.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• High level of adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using relevant computer applications and tools.
