This position is actively part of the management team, and is responsible for coordinating and supervising all transportation functions related to freight movement into and out of the warehouse(s), maintaining prescribed service levels while keeping costs at a minimum and training and managing those in the Transportation Department to ensure the achievement of departmental and company objectives.

• Responsible for scheduling and routing Murphy Logistics truck deliveries and pickups, working closely with warehouse staff, customer service and drivers to achieve and maintain high service levels.
• Develops daily schedules of deliveries and pickups that meet service and efficiency standards.
• Maintain a thorough and up to date understanding of DOT policies and requirements and assure compliance.
• Maintain driver files.
• Audit drivers logs.
• Ensure Murphy drivers receive all necessary training.
• Ensure that drivers are in compliance with customer requirements and expectations.
• Recommend programs to the Senior Operations Manager that improve the transportation function.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
