Job Description
We are currently hiring an entry-level Transportation Engineer to work in our DC metro region offices. The ideal candidate will support our engineering team in performing various tasks in the design of transportation projects.
Qualifications
· B.S. in Civil Engineering or a similar field
· M.S. in Transportation Engineering is a Plus
Responsibilities
· Work alongside an experienced Project Engineer and/or Project Manager to develop to support municipal and transportation infrastructure projects
· Design of signals, signs, pavement markings, and ITS.
· Perform drafting (2D and 3D) to support design activities to develop MOT phases and stages.
· Collaborate to Implement traffic management strategies.
· Complete traffic safety and operational improvement studies
· Provide analyses of traffic safety issues and crash reduction measures.
· complete signal optimization and timing plans
Preferred
· EIT
· MicroStation OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
· Experience in using GIS
