Transplant Nurse Coordinator provides planning and coordination of all facets of clinical care for potential and actual transplant candidates and recipients. Manages referral, evaluation, and pre-transplant data for transplant patients and coordinates the clinical management of post-transplant patients. Being a Transplant Nurse Coordinator develops materials and delivers programs to educate and support patients, families, and clinicians throughout the transplant process. Requires clinical experience in the care and treatment of transplant patients. Additionally, Transplant Nurse Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree of Nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires registered nurse (RN). May require certification from a professional organ transplant nursing certification board. Baltz Elementary School. This position is available immediately through the end of the school year and will resume following summer break.
The selected candidate provides physical examinations, health screenings, treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, immunizations , and health education to the community and students and works closely with the school nurse to treat students and keep them in school.
The APC works with a multidisciplinary staff at the center to address critical issues that children face guiding them towards productive and healthy lives and in doing so improving the health of our communities.
