• RF TRANSMITTER ENGINEER •
Diversified Technologies, Inc. (“DTI”) is an international leader in the design and manufacture of
high-power microwave, RF, and pulsed power systems. Our exceptional engineers and scientists
collaborate to develop the world’s most powerful solid state and vacuum electronic transmitters
for radar, RF heating and particle accelerator applications. They also develop and build antenna
systems, and engage state-of-the-art research, for industry and government (e.g., the
national laboratories).
We seek a talented RF Transmitter Engineer to join the team at our headquarters in Bedford, Massachusetts.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual, able to take a lead role as an active team
player (i.e., think, calculate, design, build, test) in our state-of-the-art programs. Key areas of
experience could include RF circuit design for power amplifiers, receivers, and antennas, and/or
the use of RF and microwave computer aided design tools, and/or “hands on” work on
electromechanical assemblies. The RF Engineer will work alongside world-class engineers and
scientists through the entire product life-cycle of our one-of-a-kind systems: from proposal writing,
initial specification, design, production, testing and installation. Importantly, the RF Engineer will
have a leadership role driving new R&D projects from their ideation and proposal through
to completion.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and technicians
• Work on:
o RF hardware / components: waveguide, resonant cavities, gigawatt short-pulse and
other antennas, etc.
o RF systems: megawatt continuous and other high-power RF transmitters (from VLF to
W-band) for radar, nuclear fusion for energy and other advanced programs
• Assist in RF and analog circuit design, PCB layout
• Test and troubleshoot existing and prototype RF systems
• Advance technology: Develop project proposals, prepare project reports, explore follow-on
project proposals
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Three years’ experience in RF systems (in industry or academia)
• Demonstrable knowledge of RF hardware and test equipment
• U.S. Citizen
