    Starting Pay Range - $81,452.80 to $87,838.40/year (Salaried / Exempt)

    Summary:

    The Director of Clinical Training is responsible for developing and coordinating a clinical and medical training program inclusive of mental health, substance use disorder and medical personnel in coordination with institutions of higher education and other community jobs training programs.

     

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain relationships and agreements for workforce training placements in coordination with institutions of higher education and other community jobs training programs;
    • Coordinate with agency executive and management teams to identify capacity for providing workforce training placements and quality of the educational experience;
    • Develop individualized training plans and expectations in coordination with program participants and reflective of the goals of educational institutions;
    • Monitor training plan accomplishments and work with prospective and current workforce placement participants to ensure personal professional goals are being met;
    • Incorporate revenue/billable hour expectations for program participants into workforce training plans and monitor achievement;
    • Provide for or provide certified professional supervision to program participants;
    • Coordinate with the agency equity plan to incorporate equity objectives into program activities;
    • Ensure program activities are in accordance with state, federal and union labor regulations and agreements;
    • Represent the agency and executive team to external partners on workforce development policies and needs;
    • Develop jobs placement program in coordination with institutions of higher education and behavioral health provider community;
    • Respectfully collaborates with co-workers and personnel from other agencies.

     

    Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Ability to develop professional relationships with a variety of professional staff at colleges and universities and with related community partners;
    • Ability to communicate, orally and in writing, clearly, politely, and professionally.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks with composure, organization and efficiency.
    • Ability to operate with a high degree of confidentiality and independence.
    • A strong commitment to working collaboratively, assertively and interdependently with co-workers.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and organize work to satisfactory completion.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Computer proficiency (Word, Excel).
    • Must have access to a car, have a valid driver’s license and current auto registration.

     

     

    Non-essential Job Functions:

    • Support agency mission, goals, and objectives.
    • Attends regular staff meetings.
    • Maintain communication and cooperative working relationships both within the agency and community at large.
    • Other related duties as assigned by the Associate Chief Clinical Officer.

     

    Education, Licensing and Experience:

    • An advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in behavioral health field;
    • Five years’ progressive work experience in behavioral health fields;
    • Knowledge of professional certification/credentialing requirements;
    • Licensed to provide clinical supervision for a variety of behavioral health professionals in training.
    • 2 years post full licensure – LICSW, LMHC, LMFT
