    Location : Richland, WA (Onsite)

    AttainX is looking for an experienced Training Specialist to join our team in Richland, WA working with the Department of Energy (DOE) - Hanford Site.

    This is a full-time, non-exempt temporary position, approximately 12-18 weeks. Hybrid schedule, working four 10-hour shifts.

    Compensation : $32.00 - $38.00 per hour

    Qualifications :

    • Education BS / BA degree in engineering, science or business management.
    • Experience Five (5) years of directly applicable experience providing technical or business support to management on projects.
    • Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues and maintain positive working relationships.
    • Identification of any conflicts, potential conflicts or perceived conflicts of interest with any Hanford Site contractors.
    • Proven ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment and lead training.
    • Knowledgeable with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
    • Attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities.
    • Certification in training and development, such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) and Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM), is a plus.
    • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DOE Public Trust.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen.

    Job Duties :

    • Assist in coordination of internal DOE training efforts, to include maintaining the database of training sessions, collecting rosters, feedback and presentations, and updating the Training SharePoint page.
    • Distribute routine communications to all Hanford employees regarding upcoming training, conferences / expo, and development opportunities, including NTC offerings.
    • Support the Required Reading program / distribution of reading assignments to employees.
    • Research and curate content to support the learning and development needs of Richland Operations Office and Office of River Protection employees.
    • Attend conferences and other events as part of the DOE Hanford Training and Development Team for continued program growth and development.
    • Plan and coordinate DOE Hanford training events for the DOE Hanford Training and Development Program Manager.
    • Provide producer support for virtual training events at DOE Hanford.
    • Manage and update Training SharePoint site and organize critical files for rapid access.
    • Assist with development of comprehensive training programs and materials that meet the needs of various departments within DOE.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and objectives.
    • Assist with design and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques and formats.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback and performance metrics.
    • Modify and update training materials as needed to ensure relevance and accuracy.
    • Coordinate conference management duties, track, update, and report attendance.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in training and development.
