Job responsibilities: Responsible for directing the contracts outreach, public relation plans, and outreach activities to increase the interest in youth to apply for the Job Corps program in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential functions:

1. Conduct direct recruitment activities, including public speaking; develop linkages with referral sources such as human services agencies, recreation centers, youth organizations and churches; contract potential enrollees to explore enrollment
2. Facilitate business engagement initiative (BEI) teams on a quarterly basis for both Waimanalo and Maui sites. Ensure the plans are being followed and communicated.
3. Stay current with center information for the assigned centers to include trade availability.
4. Call and invite perspective students to prospective student orientation.
5. Maintain linkages with the one-stop career centers; keep one-stops informed and updated on Job Corps.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of sales or marketing experience.
• Experience may include sales and successful outreach and admissions experience or successful outreach and admissions experience with other youth programs.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
