Company MDX is seeking to hire an Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be an organized and proactive individual capable of handling a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the operation of the office. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with continuous learning.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support other teams with various administrative tasks (redirecting calls, reports, disseminating
correspondence, scheduling meetings etc.)
- Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, and other standard
office equipment.
- Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters.
- Serves as the receptionist for the office, greeting visitors and clients.
- Perform regular cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces, emptying trash
receptacles and disposing of waste in designated areas
- Ensure that the coffee area is clean organized and properly stocked with coffee, tea, snacks and other
amenities.
- Coordinate Hotel Rooms thru App For Training Travel
- Maintain schedules for required projects/clients.
- Manages calendars and schedules appointments.
- Assist in client relationship management
- Interacts with various employees in almost every department
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, flexibility and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required due to the amount of interaction they
have with various employees and vendors
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. and a willingness to learn new software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (Preferable)
- Spanish Language (Preferable)
- Clerical experience preferred.
- Proven Experience in a similar role (Preferable)
