Job Description:

Position: Training Development Statistical Analyst (TDSA)

Department: Directorate of Training and Doctrine (DOTD), Training Division

Military Unit: United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE)

Active Secret Security Clearance

Location: Fort Novosal, Alabama

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a US Citizen with an Active US Government Secret security clearance.
• Experienced performing Cost-Benefit Analysis
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Great Communication Skills - will communicate with internal and external customers
• Ability to ask the right questions - good critical thinking skills
• Experience identifying and engaging resource requirements.
• Ability to enhance the management and oversight of constrained resources
• Experience utilizing analytical products to manage resources and support decision making and fast-track requests.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with quick turnaround times
• Strong operational research, cost benefit analysis, data analysis and problem solving skills.

Experience with the Army's:

• Training Requirements Analysis System (TRAS) management process.
• TRAS documents (Individual Training Plans (ITP)
• Course Administrative Data (CAD)
• Programs of Instruction (POI)
• Course Level Training Model (CLTM)

Responsibilities:

• Statistical and Cost-Benefit analysis of United States Army Aviation Training Requirements
• Development, oversight and ongoing updates of USAACE training requirement documents and products.
• Cost-Benefit Analysis for every new course and proposed changes to existing POIs.
• Utilize Analytical products to provide a comparative analysis of training solutions and quantify the costs and impacts of new and/or proposed changes to the Center's baseline resourcing for training and education.
• Compiling information from various sources, internal and external including the National Guard, US Army Reserve, and Active Duty sources. Conducting Q&A sessions while utilizing critical thinking skills.
• Substantiate findings and present the quantifiable data and analysis to decision makers in Power Point presentations. Coordinating findings and actions across HQ TRADOC.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree with course concentration in operations research, mathematical logic, probability and statistics with a minimum of 5 years relevant Military experience.

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
