Training Analyst reviews and evaluates training programs for an organization to ensure the training needs of the organization are being fulfilled. Analyzes existing training program delivery, content, and aids to measure effectiveness and recommend program changes. Being a Training Analyst develops and recommends methods and materials for training staff and may propose new curriculum, ideas for group discussions, demonstrations, and workshops. Incorporates new training methods that may enhance programs and are relevant to company employees. Additionally, Training Analyst may conduct analysis of instructor performance to drive improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Training Analyst contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     The Training Support Analyst requires comprehensive knowledge of teaching and learning techniques and methods, and operates application software, including word-processing and spreadsheet programs. This position requires someone with strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and customer service skills, attention to detail is essential, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence. 

    • Coordinating with multiple employers to assist with the development, dissemination, and completion tracking of training modules. 
    • Track time-sensitive training requirements by coordinating and scheduling instructor-led training (ILT) with process owners, recording ILT participation, and maintaining records of ILTs. 
    • Collect data from multiple databases to develop spreadsheets and reports. 
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training/course by observing student performance and student application of techniques/skills. 
    • Demonstrate presentation skills and ability to deliver an effective, professional training presentation. 
    • Establish course content and objectives. 
    • Updates course documentation continuously to ensure timeliness and relevance. 
    • Develop and revise courses using instructional system design & development (ISD) methodology. 
    • Conduct training. 
    • Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested. 
    • Other duties as assigned.  

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, emphasizing education, adult learning or teaching and learning technologies, and 5 years related instructional development experience.
