Training Analyst reviews and evaluates training programs for an organization to ensure the training needs of the organization are being fulfilled. Analyzes existing training program delivery, content, and aids to measure effectiveness and recommend program changes. Being a Training Analyst develops and recommends methods and materials for training staff and may propose new curriculum, ideas for group discussions, demonstrations, and workshops. Incorporates new training methods that may enhance programs and are relevant to company employees. Additionally, Training Analyst may conduct analysis of instructor performance to drive improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Training Analyst contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Objectives of this Role

    • Improve, execute, and effectively communicate analysis that identify meaningful trends to determine category strategy and opportunities for our clients
    • Assist the team in development and execution of segmentation, category reviews, shelving, and modular plans through a collection of various data sources
    • Provide market insights through collection of relevant local and global market trends and shopper research techniques
    • Provide category communication to our customers
    • Participate in regular meetings with management and clients addressing issues to identify and implement fact-based solutions to support the overall objective(s)

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    • Gathers data from various sources, interprets the data, analyze results using analytics, research methodologies, and statistical techniques
    • Provide detailed category and brand insights and presents information to a variety of stakeholders
    • Creates executive summaries from data with clear and concise presentations
    • Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes and implementing changes
    • Takes ownership with accomplishing new and different requests and explores opportunities to add value
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
    • Will support the Analytics Manager in all functions of the category management process

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mathematics, Business, Marketing, Management, or related field
    • Advanced analytical skills with experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating abundant information with accuracy
    • 2-5 years’ experience within consumer goods, category management and/or trade marketing experience
    • Experience with or knowledge of consumer behavior and insights is preferred
    • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • The ability to present findings in a polished way
    • Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Proficiency with dataset analytics (using Power BI, Tableau etc.)
    • Experience utilizing data: Point of Sale, consumer panel, assortment optimization, and other consumer-based data providers (IRI, Nielsen, etc.)
    • Knowledge and the ability to interpret consumer panel data
    • Entrepreneurial mindset, with innovative approach to business planning

    Travel Requirements

    • This position will travel occasionally (10-15%)
