Position Summary
The GFEBS Training Team Analyst develops training team materials and supports efforts associated with the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Financial Operations Division (FOD) financial and budget GFEBS training initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Develop training materials, and online training curriculum for instructor led training courses, delivered to DHA End Users
* Communicate with DHA End Users to understand training requirements
* Update existing materials to align with organizational changes and updates, as per client leadership
* Take direction from BOSD Training Team lead as to new courses that should be developed, or ad hoc training requests
* Collaborate with other training team members to develop training materials for instructor led training presentations
* Deliver the instructor led training courses to DHA End Users, field their questions, and task out participant practice guides
* Meet with team members and understand emerging training requirements, produce Standard Operating Procedure documents,
advise training team leadership on the best topics to deliver going forward
* Provide ad hoc training support to DHA End Users, contractors supporting J-8 and/or Advancia teaming partners
* Possible deployment to remote sites to provide over-the-shoulder training to address GFEBS DHA/MHS end-user issues
* Understand the impact of organizational changes and design training curriculum that aligns with emerging GFEBS updates
Education & Experience Requirements
EDUCATION:
* Bachelor's Degree in Financial Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, Financial Analysis, Managerial Finance, Accounting, Business or other related / allied discipline, or other relevant experience.
EXPERIENCE:
* 3-year minimum experience in DoD budget and program development, execution and management, or other relevant experience.
* 3-year minimum supporting GFEBS end users and resolving their issues
* Proficient in General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) - all modules within GFEBS
* Knowledge of commonly used DoD, Defense Health Program and Federal budgetary, financial and practical accounting methods, practices, procedures, regulations, laws, policies and precedents in order to perform routine budget administration duties and provide advice on the full range of routine budget exhibit preparation and submission activities.
*Knowledge of the budget execution process in order to advise on and/or properly execute, record and report obligations, expenditures, transfer of funds, allotments, year-end closeout, etc.
* Have previous database analysis experience.
* Knowledge of the U. S. Standard General Ledger (USSGL) and general ledger accounting.
* Practical knowledge of the mission, function, goals, objectives, work processes, and sources of funding for the organization. -
Knowledge of automated budget and financial systems and capabilities.
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
* U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to complete and pass a National Agency clearance investigation (NACI) background check for system access and credentials.
