Training Administrator is responsible for the coordination of employee and management training programs. Administers a recordkeeping system to track employee training participation and progress. Being a Training Administrator assists in other administrative and budgeting tasks associated with training programs. Coordinates and tracks participation in outside training activities. Additionally, Training Administrator may coordinate or administer skill or competency assessments, career counseling, outplacement, and other specialized training or development programs for employees. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Training Administrator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     POSITION SUMMARY 

    The Administrator In-Training (AIT) will learn to act as the site Administrator with seasoned guidance from the  Regional Director of Operations and VP Operations. The AIT provides non-clinical support and department head  leadership to assigned Monarch Healthcare Management facilities, floating to facilities in need to gain  perspective of operations with the goal of preparing to become an Administrator. Responsibilities of the  Administrator In-Training are similar to the Administrator; please see attached Administrator job description  addendum, outlining the Administrator role and responsibilities. The AIT role is not intended to last longer than  one year, at which time a placement decision will be made.

    QUALIFICATIONS 

    Education and Experience 

    Current healthcare administration student actively pursuing Administrator license Ability to pass the Minnesota Nursing Home Administration licensing exam within one year of hire 

    Preferred 

    Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field 

    Current Minnesota Nursing Home Administration license 

    Required Skills and Abilities

    Business acumen; understands intertwining of departments and how resulting financial metrics  demonstrate their effectiveness

    High emotional intelligence (EQ) 

    Ability to actively listen, with the goal of understanding 

    Ability to clearly speak and proficiently read and write in English

    Ability to travel as needed; may include overnight stays
