Training Administrator is responsible for the coordination of employee and management training programs. Administers a recordkeeping system to track employee training participation and progress. Being a Training Administrator assists in other administrative and budgeting tasks associated with training programs. Coordinates and tracks participation in outside training activities. Additionally, Training Administrator may coordinate or administer skill or competency assessments, career counseling, outplacement, and other specialized training or development programs for employees. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Training Administrator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. We are a private fitness/sports performance center looking for a part-time Strength and Conditioning Coach who has some experience working with both Athlete and non-Athlete populations and understands weightlifting for athletes. Must have a CPT certification from one of the recognized organizations below, demonstrate knowledge of weight lifting principles, and be open to learning. The ideal candidate will be familiar with a wide range of modalities and exercise protocols, have an interest in learning new protocols, and have an outgoing and people-loving personality and a willingness to learn. Some additional requirements are as follows:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to legally work for any employer within the US
Must be able to lift an excess of 50 lbs. frequently
Must have a reliable form of transportation
Must be willing to work early morning, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Required education: High school or equivalent, Undergrad in exercise science or related field preferable
Required experience: Personal Training - 1 year
Required language: English
Required license or certification: NSCA, ACSM, NASM, or reputable certifying body.
