Training Administrator is responsible for the coordination of employee and management training programs. Administers a recordkeeping system to track employee training participation and progress. Being a Training Administrator assists in other administrative and budgeting tasks associated with training programs. Coordinates and tracks participation in outside training activities. Additionally, Training Administrator may coordinate or administer skill or competency assessments, career counseling, outplacement, and other specialized training or development programs for employees. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Training Administrator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. This position will support the Operations Training Department by assisting with the development of the annual training plan, schedule employee training events, manage the training room calendar, track, and maintain factory training records and employee performance data as it pertains to incentive based and employee morale programs. Serves as supporting or back-up instructor when necessary.
• Training – collaborate with the training staff and other factory leaders to develop the annual/cyclical training plan for the factory. • Scheduling – schedule training events and closely manage/prioritize the training room calendar to support new employee job instruction programs and other required factory required training requests, requirements, or expectations.• Record Keeping – maintain accountability of employee and organizational training records. • Event Planning – plan, coordinate, form committees or focus groups and manage to completion annual employee engagement and appreciation events.
Associate degree, Vocational or Technical Training Certificate with a concentration in Training & Development or a High School Diploma and 3 years relevant prior work experience as an Administrative or Training Support Specialist.
• Experience managing small projects or events.• Data organization and entry. • Intermediate computer skills (e.g., MS Office including Excel and Word) are essential. • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
