Duties
• Under the direction of your Supervisor-In-Charge you will be assigned to a particular post. You are required to remain at your designated post, be alert, and portray a professional conduct (leaning on concrete barriers is unacceptable).
• Under immediate supervision and direction of the Garage/Field Supervisor, change directional signs and set up traffic cones to facilitate the flow of traffic within public parking lots at the airport.
• Direct patrons to available parking spaces within the parking lot when required and set up barriers or cones to prevent unauthorized parking, where necessary.
• Direct departing traffic to available lanes to expedite such traffic.
• Report to immediate supervisor pavement failures including potholes and all other deficiencies concerning the physical condition of the parking lots.
• The traffic attendant will provide superior customer service to all airport customers.
• Perform other related duties directed by the supervisor.
• The traffic attendant shall present an exceptionally well-groomed, neat, clean, and conservative appearance. Wear only appropriate accessories.
• Fully display name tag and company identification at all times. The traffic attendant is required to wear a traffic safety vest while on duty.
• The traffic attendant should be knowledgeable of airport destinations, entrances, exits, etc.
• The traffic attendant position is an outside position; therefore, employee must be prepared to fully function with the outside elements
