  • Duties

    • You will serve as member of a team performing operations research and analysis in support of the Command's Property and General Equipment (GE), Government Furnished Property (GFP), Vehicle Control, and Consumable Materials oversight.
    • You will assist in developing improvement and sustainment processes to accurately account for and report on the status of all Command General Equipment and Government Furnished Equipment within the Accountable Property System of Record (APSR).
    • You will assist in the design and development of the forms, processes, and data used in Navy ERP and various other management systems.
    • You will apply Navy instructions and Command business rules to properly advise Integrated Product Teams, Project Leads, Life Cycle Engineers and command personnel on accurately accounting and managing GE, GFE, leased vehicles, and consumable supplies
    • You will assist in the evaluations of potential shortfalls and performance problems in order to define and implement required improvements.

    Qualifications

    Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and implementing new programs and processes, interpretating and applying government policy and DoD instrcutions.

    Education

    Basic Requirements:
    Degree: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
