Position Summary The primary responsibility of this position is to complete the investor reporting for the various Life Company, CMBS, GSE Entities and vendors that Walker & Dunlop conducts business with. This entails providing monthly payment remittance reports, initiating daily remittance wires and providing any other reports that are required by the investor. In addition to these duties, this specific role would be creating the various portfolios within our loan servicing system and ensuring all data points are accurate prior to the first month of reporting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work with external contacts (investors and vendor) and servicing staff to complete daily/monthly payment remittance reports for assigned investors. Reconcile and process remittance reporting, resolving differences through loan-level research Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls and policies and procedures Prepare bank reconciliations for custodial escrow bank accounts. Set up new investor portfolios and manage transition of loans between various portfolios Initiate process improvements increasing efficiency, effectiveness, and flexibility Other duties as assigned by management Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four (4) year college. Minimum of one – three years of accounting experience. Experience in commercial real estate loan servicing and/or investor reporting a plus. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to competently complete multiple tasks simultaneously with an appropriate attention to detail. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under tight time constraints independently and within the department.
