May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Traffic Manager typically reports to a director. The Traffic Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Traffic Control Lead is a Union position. If you are not yet a member, we can help facilitate the onboarding process. The Traffic Control Lead works under the direction of a contractor to identify the various needs and or phases of a job. He or she is involved in providing onsite leadership and supervision of the work crew to successfully complete a job. The Lead will be tasked to assess his or her work crew’s performance and to provide feedback to the Safety Team. The Lead specializes in the following: traffic control equipment installation, flagging setups, flagger control, jobsite training. A Lead must have a valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

POSITION DUTIES:
Education: High School Diploma preferred.
Language: English.
Experience: 2 years in a Lead role in the Traffic Control industry, or 4 years in a Supervisor role in a related industry. Journeyman level Laborers Union classification, or equivalent experience. Traffic Control experience required. Flexible Schedule a must.
