    POSITION SUMMARY: Regional Account Mangers are responsible for developing relationships with customers and growing accounts in their assigned territory through the promotion and selling of the company's products and services to customers within the assigned territory. Customers will exist in government, commercial, industrial, and educational enterprises that require traffic control, traffic safety, traffic direction and related equipment and services.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Conduct phone calls, emails, and personal site visits to customers and prospects to promote, sell, and rent products and services in given strategic territory.
    2. Assemble a presentation using predeveloped marketing materials and deliver to small groups on a frequent basis.
    3. Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss sales and credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
    4. Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
    5. Coordinate all service requirements with the Operations team to insure proper customer service.
    6. Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue by cold-calling when necessary and appropriate.
    7. Follow-up with customers on open quotes and action items from meetings.
    8. Actively manage call schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner.
    9. Use applicable sales management software tools (CRM) to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
    10. Maintain accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation to be included in CRM Tool
    11. Have a comprehensive knowledge of new and used equipment sales in the areas of Pavement Marking Traffic Safety Devices, and Traffic Control.
    12. Consult with customers on the valuation and sales estimates of equipment.
    13. Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts to management and vendors.
    14. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
    15. Understand customer needs and requirements
    16. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
    17. Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
    18. Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
    19. Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your
    20. Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
    Position Requirements

    Requirements:

    1. BS degree with 3-5 years with a focus on large territories / regions (or 5-7 years successful track record without BS Degree.)
    2. Understand Department of Transportation hierarchy, decision making processes, and operating procedures.
    3. Experience selling "solution" based services along with a "strategic entrepreneurial motivation."
    4. Excellent Time management and organizational skills a must.
    5. Success developing and implementing 90 day plans and executing on them.
    6. Traffic Control industry experienced preferred.
    7. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
    8. Proven inside sales experience
    9. Track record of over-achieving quota
    10. Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
    11. Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
    12. Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
    13. Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    14. Strong listening and presentation skills
