Traffic Clerk, Sr. jobs in Methuen, MA
Traffic Clerk, Sr. provides administrative and clerical support to the traffic operations function of an organization. Responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping, logging, and tracking of inbound and outbound orders. Being a Traffic Clerk, Sr. contacts transporters for freight pick-up and ensures that cargo is routed appropriately. Communicates changes to routing and timelines. Additionally, Traffic Clerk, Sr. prepares and processes bills of lading (BOL) and other shipping documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Traffic Clerk, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. - 2years of strong accounts payables and accounts receivablesexperience
- Accurateand detailoriented with strong problem solving and investigativeskills
- Musthave the ability to handle multiple properties and multipleclients
- Abilityto work in fast paced environment with competingdeadlines
- Strongproficiency in MSExcel
- QuickBookssoftware experiencepreferred
- Paperlesspayable system experiencepreferred
QUALIFICATIONS : A minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experiencerequired Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience usingformulas / pivot tables, etc.
Experience with NetSuite is a plus,requires experience with accounting software Strong ability inmanaging priorities Strong customer service skills Knowledge ofthree way matching of purchase orders, packing slips and invoicesAbility to perform in a high-growth, fast-paced, collaborative workenvironment Ideal candidates will have excellent written and verbalcommunication skills, strong organization skills, thrive in afast-paced environment and keen attention to details
