Traffic Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to the traffic operations function of an organization. Responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping, logging, and tracking of inbound and outbound orders. Being a Traffic Clerk contacts transporters for freight pick-up and ensures that cargo is routed appropriately. Communicates changes to routing and timelines. Additionally, Traffic Clerk prepares and processes bills of lading (BOL) and other shipping documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Traffic Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Job Description :
The SRPC Traffic Clerk will operate and maintain the reception control front desk, briefings, and scheduling in support of the reception and in-processing and out processing of Active, Reserve and National Guard component Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Civilian and Contract Personnel.
Assist in managing traffic throughout the SRPC. Will maintain DA s, SRPC, reports, opening / securing the building and other duties assigned in the Soldier Readiness Processing Center (SRPC). Requirements :
