Traffic Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to the traffic operations function of an organization. Responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping, logging, and tracking of inbound and outbound orders. Being a Traffic Clerk contacts transporters for freight pick-up and ensures that cargo is routed appropriately. Communicates changes to routing and timelines. Additionally, Traffic Clerk prepares and processes bills of lading (BOL) and other shipping documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Traffic Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. We operate in much of South Dakota and Northwestern Iowa with offices in Tea, SD and Sioux City, Iowa. Our Pavement Marking division specializes in temporary, permanent, and durable pavement markings and pavement marking removals. We are looking for a Pavement Marking/Traffic Control Technician to join our team. This role rarely requires you to spend overnights out of town for work. If this occurs, hotel and per diem will be paid. This position will work out of our Sioux City, IA location.
