Being a Traffic Clerk contacts transporters for freight pick-up and ensures that cargo is routed appropriately. Communicates changes to routing and timelines. Additionally, Traffic Clerk prepares and processes bills of lading (BOL) and other shipping documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Traffic Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Your Opportunity
Stantec’s New England Transportation group has an immediate need for a motivated, team focused Traffic Engineer. You will have the opportunity to be part of a team working on some of the most challenging and diverse transportation infrastructure projects in the region including intersections, roadway corridors, roundabouts and bridges, incorporating complete and safe streets principles. You will also have opportunities to work on the development of dedicated bicycle facilities and multi-use paths. The work will range from concept planning/traffic studies through final design and construction, working directly with Stantec’s broad cross-section of technical specialists, including industry leading multimodal transportation planners and established transportation design professionals. The position will be primarily located in our Burlington, MA office with opportunities for a hybrid work arrangement.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
Engineer in Training Certification required. PE preferred.
