Summary:
As the second largest bail bonds company in California, we are currently seeking a Collections Supervisor to manage the legal collection process of through wage garnishments, small claims proceedings, and civil judgments. In this role, the ideal candidate should have 3 years of legal collection experience, a highly motivated individual that is assertive, creative, dedicated, and persistence with all aspects of legal collections (wage garnishment, small claims proceedings, civil judgments). The Collections Supervisor will also be responsible for collecting payments, account management with civil and small claims debtors.
Requirements:
- 3 Years of supervisory legal collections experience with civil judgment, wage garnishment, and small claims proceedings
- Experience with drafting, small claims complaints, civil complaints, collections letters
- Experience with filing wage garnishments, civil and small claims complaints
- Experience collaborating with collection attorneys
- Experience appearing at small claims and civil proceedings on behalf of BBBB
- Superior knowledge of collections regulations and legal collections process.

- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus but no required
- Proficient in MS office and clerical duties

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collecting payments through contacting civil and small claims judgment debtors
- Drafting small claims complaints, civil complaints,
- Drafting 10 days letters and abstracts for debtors
- Filing small claims and civil complaints with court
- Appear at small claims court hearing
- Assemble small claims and civil complaints files (request for original file, verify- legal checklist, employment address, claim defendant address per TLO, run credit report, print Captira rap sheet, print contracts, ID, and picture of claim defendant) for attorney review and signature
- Draft Judgment packet and declaration with exhibits
- Run TLO for judgment debtors
- Prepare and send packet to process server (including complaints, POS form sheet)

- Update and monitor process server spreadsheet
- Add complaint court date on calendar
- File the proof of service of Affidavit
- Upon receiving judgment via postal mail, enter judgment information in Captira
- Request checks for the abstracts
- Print all signed complaints, filed POS
