Compensation: $18.00-$19.00/hr.
JOB SUMMARY:
Perform a wide variety of basic legal clerical tasks. Typical duties include preparing, reviewing, and processing claims documents and forms; establishing and maintaining case files; utilizing automated case management tracking and filing systems, providing claims assistance to the various departments within the company, courts, jails, etc.
KNOWLEDGE OF:
Modern office methods, procedures, terms, and equipment; telephone usage and etiquette; official document formats; English grammar, spelling and basic arithmetic; alphabetic, numeric and chronological indexing of records and files; personal computers; word processing; principles of office and records management; and standard business computer programs.
SKILL IN:
Typing/word processing at a rate of 35 net words per minute.
ABILITY TO:
Read, interpret and understand court documents; review documents quickly and accurately; verify authenticity of signatures; understand, explain and apply rules, regulations, statutes, and procedures; operate word processing equipment; use a computer terminal; use and maintain complex filing systems in accordance with standard office practices; maintain confidentiality; communicate clearly and effectively with tact and courtesy, both orally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, staff, court services personnel, etc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Applicants must have at least six (6) months of full-time clerical experience, which includes providing customer service in person or via telephone.

- Computer Literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Requires a good driving record.
