Trade Show Manager jobs in Janesville, WI
Trade Show Manager manages the execution and logistics of trade shows and exhibitions to achieve business objectives. Develops and manages a comprehensive event project plan for all setup tasks, promotional items, literature, bookings, and other details. Being a Trade Show Manager approves the design, layout, cost estimates, and construction of exhibits and displays. Negotiates with vendors and service providers for best arrangements within budget. Additionally, Trade Show Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Trade Show Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Trade Show Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. General Warehouse Associate Job Summary: The purpose of this position is to accurately transfer, both physically and logically, to fulfill orders, inventory, and load/unload trailers.
Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
- Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers
- Scanning
- Perform basic housekeeping job functions for assigned area
- Picking and packing
- Investigate/resolve scanning issues
- Check for evidence of product or container damage
- Ensure facility is secure at end of shift
- Material Handling
- Perform material moves with associated physical/logical transaction are required
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
General Warehouse Associate Requirements:
- At least 6 months of warehouse experience
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- The ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Be able to work mandatory overtime including Saturdays
