Trade Show Manager jobs in Alaska
Trade Show Manager manages the execution and logistics of trade shows and exhibitions to achieve business objectives. Develops and manages a comprehensive event project plan for all setup tasks, promotional items, literature, bookings, and other details. Being a Trade Show Manager approves the design, layout, cost estimates, and construction of exhibits and displays. Negotiates with vendors and service providers for best arrangements within budget. Additionally, Trade Show Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Trade Show Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Trade Show Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. JOB DESCRIPTION: TALENT SHOW
RANGE: (2) $1,182.00 – 10 Students Minimum
TERM: Fall or Spring (subject to change based on schedule)
(Potentially Pro-rated)General Responsibilities/Duties
Communicate with participants, parents, and administrators.
Set an example through living by a high code of conduct.
Follow safety procedures.
Understand and adhere the NSBSD and any specific activity policies and guidelines.
Responsible for the annual review of the Coaches’ and the Parent and Student Handbooks.
Ensure student welfare is paramount in decision-making.
Complete the Mandatory Trainings (Training Verification Check List Coaching and Activity Adviser Staff)
on/or before the first contract day:Specific Responsibilities/Duties
Talent Show (2) Coordinate with Principal on performance, date(s) and time(s)
Keep a roster of performers
Document number of acts/performances
COMPENSATION
Per negotiated agreement and meeting all “Responsibilities” – payment may be prorated based on meeting the
