Trade Show Manager
Certified Collectibles Group (CCG) is a multi-divisional, global organization which specializes in third-party, expert authentication, grading, and conservation of collectibles. CCG is seeking a highly motivated and organized Trade Show Manager to join our growing Team.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Assist in the development and analysis of annual trade show plans, budget management and ROI or other key metrics
- Manage and oversee yearly tradeshow schedule, upwards of 60 shows nationally and internationally
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with show organizers and suppliers
- Manage tradeshow coordinators and travel staff with training, scheduling, and organizational support
- Coordinates all pre-event, onsite, and post-event logistics, including booth design, booth staff scheduling, travel arrangements, and collateral production
- On-site tradeshow responsibilities include managing staff, booth operations, daily and end of show ship out, customer issues, and vendor management
- Manage all post tradeshow responsibilities including submission reporting, preparing evaluation surveys, budget reports, and ROI tracking
- Oversee and approve purchase orders, 3rd party payments, invoice approvals.
- Work closely with Director to optimize booth design and operational flow
- Work closely with Marketing Team to ensure integrated pre-show outreach, during-show execution and post-show follow-up occurs
Requirements:
- Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a strong focus on execution with precise results
- 5 years’ experience in Trade Show and Event Management
- Ability to travel with team up to two times a month
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Process orientated with a superior attention to detail
- Proven time management skills focusing on urgent and overlapping deadlines
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, expectations, schedules and budgets
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Exceptional judgement and problem resolution abilities
- Capable of properly handling confidential information
- Must be able to travel frequently (limited international travel possible) in addition to holding a valid Driver’s license with a good driving record
