Collaborates with stakeholders, sales, and marketing to develop the business objectives, concepts, deliverables, and timelines of a show. Being a Trade Show Director devises innovative solutions to enhance the impact of an event. Ensures detailed planning and execution of show and evaluates show outcomes based on established metrics for quality and attendance. Additionally, Trade Show Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Trade Show Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Trade Show Booth Builder and Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction, or a related field, with hands-on experience in building and setting up trade show booths. This position requires a meticulous attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Construct trade show booths according to design specifications, utilizing various materials such as wood, metal, acrylic, and fabric.
    • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and renderings to ensure accurate assembly and installation of booth components.
    • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to bring creative visions to life while adhering to budgetary and timeline constraints.
    • Safely transport booth materials to trade show venues and oversee the setup and dismantling of booths on-site.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the construction and installation process.
    • Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and equipment, ensuring that resources are well-managed and readily available for upcoming projects.
    • Uphold high standards of quality and craftsmanship in all aspects of booth construction and installation.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in carpentry, construction, or a related field, with specific experience in trade show booth fabrication and installation preferred.
    • Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in carpentry and construction work.
    • Strong understanding of structural principles and ability to work with a variety of materials.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with team members and clients.
    • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by trade show schedules.
    • Physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

    Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

    Travel requirement:

    • Up to 25% travel
