Trade Show Director develops and directs the overall strategic planning, budget, and execution of trade shows and exhibitions. Collaborates with stakeholders, sales, and marketing to develop the business objectives, concepts, deliverables, and timelines of a show. Being a Trade Show Director devises innovative solutions to enhance the impact of an event. Ensures detailed planning and execution of show and evaluates show outcomes based on established metrics for quality and attendance. Additionally, Trade Show Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Trade Show Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Trade Show Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • Overview:
    Evergreen Summer is seeking a highly motivated and outgoing individual to join our team as a Trade Show Representative for Shoppe Object's August 2024 New York Show. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with people, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about sales.

    Show dates and times:

    August 4 -- 9AM – 6PM

    August 5 -- 9AM – 6PM

    August 6 -- 9AM – 9PM *Includes booth breakdown

    Responsibilities:

    • Individually manage the Evergreen Summer booth at Shoppe Object August 2024 show in New York City
    • Engage with wholesale customers and prospects at the show
    • Write wholesale orders
    • Maintain accurate record of customer interactions and leads at the show
    • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and providing product information
    • Break down the booth at the end of the show (Note: walls do not need to be broken down, but product and signage need to be removed and shipped.)

    Skills:

    • Strong sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
    • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers
    • Detail-oriented and organized
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Able to work independently
