Trade Show Director develops and directs the overall strategic planning, budget, and execution of trade shows and exhibitions. Collaborates with stakeholders, sales, and marketing to develop the business objectives, concepts, deliverables, and timelines of a show. Being a Trade Show Director devises innovative solutions to enhance the impact of an event. Ensures detailed planning and execution of show and evaluates show outcomes based on established metrics for quality and attendance. Additionally, Trade Show Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Trade Show Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Trade Show Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • Impact XM develops solutions for virtual and live events. We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Las Vegas office. A Project Manager is responsible for accurately & efficiently managing the production details, activities and scheduling aspects of each assigned project. A Project Manager will primarily support custom built properties being utilized at tradeshows, events and permanent environments. Supporting the Global Estimating process is also a core responsibility of the project management teams.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Adhere to all Global Impact XM processes and policies accurately and efficiently.
    • Utilize Impact XM project system to properly communicate to operational departments.
    • Communicate and work effectively with Impact XM Account Services on all project deliverables.
    • Addresses and helps ‘trouble-shoot’ issues that arise with a project, both with the client and/or internal stakeholders.
    • Responsible to support Global Estimating efforts be efficiently, accurately completing estimates.
    • Accurately, effectively manage any sized project with limited supervision.
    • Utilizing knowledge of production techniques to ensure accurate deliverables.
    • Collaborate with Design to select finishes, confirm availability and secure approvals.
    • Efficiently manage projects on or under the estimated budget
    • Establish and maintain work back schedules and communicate changes to appropriate team members.
    • Create and maintain Implementation Plans (IP) and communicate with teams to ensure alignment.
    • Source materials, work with approved Impact XM vendors on project deliverables and request purchase orders.
    • Coordinate sub-contractor and supplier services.
    • Complete & accurately reconcile all core operational elements in a project in a timely manner.
    • Participate, collaborate in post project reviews.
    • Mentor, train and provide guidance to Project Coordinators.

    REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

    • Possesses an aptitude for structural mechanics with the ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
    • Must be passionate about working with people and be customer-centric.
    • Thrives in an entrepreneurial and independent environment.
    • Embodies flexibility, open-mindedness and receptivity.
    • Actively works out solutions.
    • Identifies something valuable in being part of a team and ability to effectively collaborate.
    • Effective communication skills are required.
    • Must be able to develop excellent rapport with existing and prospective clients.
    • Must have a good “business sense”.
    • Exhibit the ability to multi-task and operate under severe time constraints and immovable deadlines. Good organization, detail and follow-up skills are required.
    • Proficient using Microsoft office programs.
    • Exhibit familiarity with show rules and regulations related to exhibit designs.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of production materials and the extent to which these may be utilized in production.
    • Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours when/as required.
    • Ability to travel to onsite deliverables when appropriate.
    • Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; and 5-10 years’ experience as an Project Manager in the exhibit industry or similar experience successfully executing projects and programs and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
