This position will support and assist THE rAVe Agency and rAVe [PUBS] at industry trade shows. The primary responsibility of a trade show intern - lead video shooter is to act as a reporter. That entails shooting product videos featuring exhibitors' new products, solutions and services on display. Each reporter will have a section of the show floor that they will be responsible for covering. Besides shooting and uploading videos, you may be asked to perform other duties. Duties include but are not limited to social media coverage, taking show floor photos, writing blogs, titling the product videos, participating in our interactive game on the show floor and helping with logistics (testing equipment, set-up and tear-down, etc.)
The trade show intern - lead video shooter will also oversee equipment management. Duties include but are not limited to unpacking and packing equipment in Las Vegas, NV, taking daily inventory and ensuring all equipment is returned and charging in its designated area at the conclusion of each day.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, reliable, flexible, can think quickly on their feet, works well on a team, has a good work ethic, and works well under pressure. Additionally, any previous video experience and previous position where you had to move fast and talk to many people consistently is a plus but not required.
THE rAVe Agency will be responsible for paying for travel expenses (flights, lodging, etc.), in addition to giving a per diem for food and incidentals per the federal guidelines for work travel. This position will be paid hourly at $15/hour.
Essential Functions
● Attend InfoComm 2024
● Attend both the pre-show training and meeting in person
● Shoot videos on the trade show floor - training to be provided at the in-person meeting and repeated in Las Vegas, NV
● Lead fellow interns, organize and unpack/pack equipment in Las Vegas, NV
● Meet with the Marketing Manager in charge of equipment before traveling to the show - the exact date and time will be agreed on between the lead video shooter and marketing manager
● Represent rAVe professionally on the trade show floor, at receptions, etc.
● Read and study the Show Sheet and other guides that provide information on the show and your job function. This will need to occur before June 9, 2024
