Soul Passion Farm, owned by 2023 National Champion Rebecca Lord, is a private dressage facility set on 12 beautiful acres just 10 minutes from the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, FL.
This is a unique opportunity for the right person to become part of a fun, close-knit team, working towards the owner’s vision of excellence for her farm and 9 performance horses. Winters (Mid-November to May 31st) are spent in Ocala, FL and summers in Cochranville, PA (June 1st to Mid-November).
The right candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Show Groom for either dressage horses, hunters, jumpers, or eventers. All aspects of working with high end show horses are expected including special treatments. The position also includes completion of general barn tasks. This is not for someone looking for a casual job. We are looking for a person who is a serious groom and is committed to excellence and learning how to be one of the best!
Generous salary. The schedule is 8 hours per day, 6 days per week with 1 hour for lunch. Weekends and evenings required. Training provided. This is not a riding position, and we cannot accommodate boarding of employee’s horses.
The ideal candidate will need:
General horse handling skills (minimum 5 years)
Horse grooming skills (at least 5 years)
A solid understanding of dressage
A positive attitude
Excellent judgment
Promptness
Solid work ethic
Must be able to travel to Florida and Pennsylvania
