Rio Grande Trade is looking for a driven, experienced team supervisor to join our growing local auction company.

The Listing Supervisor at Rio Grande Trade plays a pivotal role in driving growth and fostering teamwork within the listing department.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is accountable for motivating and guiding the listing team to achieve or exceed weekly goals while improving operational processes and the overall quality of the listings produced. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to provide constructive feedback and support to team members.

To be successful in this position you will need a strong attention to detail; willingness to evaluate, motivate and encourage your team members; and willingness to jump in occasionally and do some heavy lifting with for your team.

Duties will include:

• Collaborate with Operations Manager to set listing team goals within budget.
• Supervise and manage listing department staff, ensuring schedules and goals are met.
• Enforce SOPs for consistent quality and procedures.
• Evaluate performance, set goals, and provide feedback.
• Analyze data to optimize revenue and advise purchasing team.
• Implement strategies for increased auction revenue.
• Motivate team, foster unity, and uphold company values.
• Optimize team efficiency and collaborate for streamlined processes.
• Train and develop team members, identify process improvements.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and handle leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5 years of leadership, supervisory, and/or management experience.
• Strong communication and conflict management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate a team to meet objectives.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Extremely technology/software savvy - picks up new technologies easily.

Minimum Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Legally authorized to work in the country without needing sponsorship for employment visa status.
• Experience in an auction or e-commerce or retail environment is preferred.

Computer Skills

• Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets).
• Proficiency in typing (55-70 words per minute).
• Able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone with or without accommodation.

Physical Demands

• Able to walk, lift, reach with hands and arms, and stand for up to 4 hours at a time.
• Capable of using a step ladder regularly and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
