Trade Show Director develops and directs the overall strategic planning, budget, and execution of trade shows and exhibitions. Collaborates with stakeholders, sales, and marketing to develop the business objectives, concepts, deliverables, and timelines of a show. Being a Trade Show Director devises innovative solutions to enhance the impact of an event. Ensures detailed planning and execution of show and evaluates show outcomes based on established metrics for quality and attendance. Additionally, Trade Show Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Trade Show Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Trade Show Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Business Development

    ·       To coordinate, direct and lead sales within defined field of responsibility

    ·       To own business development activities

    ·       To be responsible for route management and development of Italy lanes

    ·       To manage, develop and oversee global agents relationship for defined markets and trade lanes

    ·       To retain & keep good relationship with existing clients

    ·       To represent interests of the Company before third parties

    ·       To coordinate the relations with other sections in the Company

    ·       To follow and accomplish Business Development department common targets

    ·       To persuade a profit policy at all the time

     

    Route Development

    ·      To perform partner development for the well-defined geographical area; display of partner network; inform and update them about our products; build up a versatile network, monitor profitability of the partner and area

    ·      To attract target partners for the entire cargo-partner network

    ·      To expertise in country facts and knowledge, economic geography skills, competitor information, key and target accounts

    ·      To perform sales lead management

    ·      To expert sales pressure to the partner and also with the cargo-partner group to sell the sales areas vice versa

    ·     To monitor risk management and payment term agreements

    ·     To publish the system partners in all areas and sections of the Company

    ·     To assist superior route management and development of defined markets and tradelanes

    ·     To take up additional assignments/tasks as required to meet with the Company needs.

    Minimum Education /Qualifications/Experience:
    • University degree in Business Administration/Logistics or equivalent
    • With 5 years of experience in business development
    • Own goods with regular clients is preferred


    Special Knowledge:
    • Computer basic knowledge, MS Office (doc., xls., ppt.)
    • English language
    • Mandarin language
    • Salesforce knowledge

    • Passion in sales

    • Good communication skill and interpersonal skill
    • Outgoing personality
    • Quick response and strong expression ability
    • Self-confident
    • Good manners and appearance
    • Familiar with sea export and import operations and pricing
