    About the Role:

    The Vice President of Procurement and Trade Relations has responsibility for overseeing the company’s purchasing activities, to include negotiating and managing procurement contracts with distributor partners, GPOs and other vendors. The role also includes managing the company’s rebate activities and data agreements, as well as maintaining beneficial relationships with drug manufacturers, and other vendor partners to promote the strategic priorities of Palmetto Infusion. This position ensures that drugs, supplies, DME, and maintenance items are purchased at the best cost and scenario for the company while ensuring these items are available to be dispensed, delivered, or used within the standards of performance and compliance adopted by Palmetto Infusion. The VP of Procurement and Trade Relations is also responsible for maintaining all products and materials as well as ensuring proper inventory controls and reporting.

    Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Experience/Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
    • Experience in drug purchasing and familiarity with trade relations in Pharmaceutical Healthcare and GPO knowledge
    • 5 years of experience in drug purchasing >$30m and the ability to demonstrate working knowledge of and experience with managing relationships with key industry manufacturers and distributors
    • Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
    • Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
    • Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion/AccuRX team.

    Essential Functions:

    • Develop and foster strong relationships with direct manufacturers, vendors, and industry partners.
    • Accountable for rebate contracting and negotiations with manufacturers and vendors.
    • Manages contracting, purchasing, and receiving of all drug product, med‐surg supply, and other necessary materials needed for daily operations.
    • Supervises and performs company inventories per policy.
    • Assists in the development and launch of new drugs and product lines.
    • Works closely with Project Manager to ensure all purchasing agreements are accounted for and housed on the company share drive.
    • Facilitates relationships with top vendors and Palmetto Senior Leadership.
    • Assists in development of company budget as it pertains to material goods.
    • Other related duties as assigned.
    • Supervision of Inventory and Purchasing Team.
