A Busch Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for delivering an effective, efficient, and proactive Quality Management System in line with the required industry standard to enable business success. They also ensure that policies and guidelines are followed by all the sites and departments and manage the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities raised against certification bodies during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified.

Job Responsibilities
· Work with the System Production/Manufacturing, Service, Safety, Materials Management and Facilities/Engineering departments as a Quality Assurance representative
· Prepare and implement quality assurance policies and procedures
· Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures
· Oversee the implementation and ensure efficiency of inspection and quality systems
· Plan, perform and oversee inspection and testing of products to ensure the quality deliverables
· Identify, manage and ensure continuous improvements in the Quality Management Systems in compliance with business objectives, business excellence standards and requirements of the external certification body
· Monitor, identify gaps and audit compliance to Quality Management System requirements
· Recommend and oversee corrective/improvement actions for instances of non-compliance, and track effective closure of action items
· Analyze customer grievances and other non-compliance issues
· Gather and organize statistical quality data and inspect data to detect opportunities for improvement
· Initiate, investigate, and manage deviations related to analytical procedures
· Analyze audit outcomes, both internal and external audits, and carry out appropriate corrective procedures and document quality assurance activities
· Ensure ongoing abidance by industry regulatory and quality requirements
Required Experience
· Five (5) years of professional experience working directly with a Quality Management System, safety, industrial engineering, or related fields: Required
· Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school): Preferred; Field of Study: Safety, Quality, or closely related field: Preferred
· Prior knowledge in quality and compliance and/or existing experience in understanding quality management system (QMS) components considered a big plus
· ISO9001 and ISO14001 exposure, implementation: Preferred
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, similar software or equivalent with emphasis on spreadsheets, data analysis and metrics: Required
· ASQ certification in quality or Six Sigma Certification: Preferred
· Must maintain a valid driver's license throughout employment in compliance with Busch Insurance Standards
