Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Loan Specialist to join our team. As a Loan Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with loan origination and processing tasks. Duties:
- Assist with loan origination and processing tasks, including reviewing loan applications, verifying financial information, and preparing loan documents
- Conduct thorough analysis of loan applications to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with loan officers and underwriters to gather necessary documentation and resolve any discrepancies
- Perform basic math calculations to determine loan amounts, interest rates, and repayment terms
- Utilize 10-key typing skills to accurately input data into loan management systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of loan applications, approvals, and denials
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from borrowers

Requirements:
- Previous experience in financial services or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of loan origination and processing procedures
- Familiarity with contract terms and regulations, including TILA (Truth in Lending Act)
- Proficient in basic math calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications related to loan processing

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per hour
