    Job Summary

    The Total Rewards Specialist provides support in the implementation, administration, and communication of Lake Trust Credit Union’s total rewards programs. The incumbent in this role leads the compensation, well-being and other total rewards initiatives while providing support and contribution's to the ongoing development of the most competitive, well designed total rewards strategy possible.

    What you’ll do

    • Provides support in the administration welfare plans including health, dental, life, vision, disability and voluntary benefit plans in compliance with federal regulations and Lake Trust Credit Union policy.
    • Assists in the management of vendor relationships; coordinates request for proposals, and assists in project management related to the implementation of new systems or services.
    • Researches industry trends, survey data and best practices to determine and recommend cost effective and competitive total reward solutions consistent with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Provides enhanced support in the administration welfare plans including health, dental, life, vision, disability, voluntary benefit plans, and open enrollment in compliance with federal regulations and Lake Trust Credit Union policy.
    • Develops and analyzes metrics for the total rewards team.

    What you’ll bring

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Management Information Systems, or a related field is required.
    • A combined total of two or more years of progressively responsible work experience in two of the following areas is required: compensation, benefits, HRIS, payroll, and/or well-being is required.
    • A graduate degree in one of the above disciplines from an accredited college or university may be substituted for up to one (1) year of experience.
    • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing multiple tasks and complex projects simultaneously is required.
    • Requires thorough knowledge of applicable Human Resource laws and regulatory compliance in Compensation & Benefits (i.e., ACA, ERISA, FMLA, FLSA, OHSA, etc.)
    • Professional certifications in one or more areas of HR administration preferred (i.e., CCP, CBP, CEBS, PHR, SPHR, SHRM)

    Total Rewards Specialist II

    What you’ll do

    • Leads small and large scale classification and compensation projects of varying complexity, sensitivity, providing analysis, and making determinations at a professional level.
    • Leads the administration of the annual merit program along with any special merit increase initiatives.
    • Manages and leads PayFactors system enhancements.
    • Provides enhanced support in the administration welfare plans including health, dental, life, vision, disability, voluntary benefit plans, and open enrollment in compliance with federal regulations and Lake Trust Credit Union policy.
    • Assists in the management of vendor relationships; coordinates request for proposals, and assists in project management related to the implementation of new systems or services.
