Position Scope/Summary

The Quality Senior Leader is responsible for leading a team of quality assurance technicians to ensure the safety, quality, and compliance of all products in the Shelling Plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, internal audits, leadership skills, and a passion for ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead a team of quality assurance technicians to ensure the highest standards of product quality and food safety.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct regular audits of production processes and procedures to identify and resolve quality and food safety opportunities.
• Ensure plant is in compliance with applicable external regulatory requirements
• Train and mentor quality assurance technicians to improve their skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and safety.
• Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality and food safety standards and expectations.
• Review and approve daily quality and food safety records
• Make recommendations on improvement of observations and sanitation procedure
