Job Description
As a Patient Care Specialist at Total Skin Dermatology and Aesthetics, you will be the friendly face and voice of our clinic, responsible for running the front desk operations. Your duties will include:
· Answering phones and responding to patient inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
· Assisting patients with scheduling appointments for both medical and aesthetic services.
· Handling product sales and inventory management.
· Educated and informative with the products we sell and the products we offer.
· Checking patients in/out.
· Entering basic patient information into our EMR program.
· Review patient insurance for upcoming medical appointments.
· Collecting payments for services rendered.
· Understand and promote the TS Memberships and rewards programs.
· Ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit.
· Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including assistance with laundry and other minimal cleanup tasks.
· Play a key role in maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
· Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably in a medical or spa setting, preferred.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
· Willingness to complete HIPAA training and maintain strict confidentiality.
