Position Summary:

The purpose of Sanitation is to clean equipment and facility items in the make-up and finishing room areas. Master sanitation duties will be assigned after the daily duties have been completed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sanitation employees perform cleaning duties as assigned including, but not limited to the following: Master Sanitation Schedule Assignments, conveyors, de-panner, cornucopias, dust collector for cornucopia, dough conveyors, dough chunker, proof box, ovens, mixer, CO2 freezers, foremost baggers, pumps, butter applicators, Wilevco applicator, R.A. Jones Cartoner, case packers, and boxers. 

As with any position, you may be required to alter the schedule or assigned work area depending on the needs of production. Clean break room and restrooms/locker rooms. 

WIll be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Mixing and Handling of aggressive chemicals is required.

Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as required.

Requirements

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is exposed to temperatures range fluctuations based on the season between 45 to 90 degrees and Humidity range 50-100%. Floor conditions may be slippery from water, oil, etc. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and requires that hearing protection be worn in production areas at all times. As well as hair/facial nets and smocks. 

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, shuffle, walk and occasionally have to be able to walk upstairs without assistance. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
